Explore regional issues, strengthen your leadership, expand your network, and make meaningful connections at Leadership SouthCoast!

LEAD SouthCoast
LSC’s LEAD SouthCoast program is the only one of its kind servicing the SouthCoast region of Massachusetts. Each year, LSC selects a diverse cohort of emerging and seasoned leaders representing the nonprofit, private, and public sectors to participate in a thought-provoking, ten-month development experience consisting of a two-day opening retreat and nine monthly full-day sessions. The program intends to strengthen the civic infrastructure of the SouthCoast by providing participants knowledge about the region, valuable connections to support their leadership in the community and within their organization, and tools to strengthen their capacity as leaders.

College LEAD SoCo
The goal of College LEAD SoCo is to help you begin to build your professional network, explore employment opportunities and create relationships so that upon graduation you have a full time job on the south coast.

Leadership Continuum
These Leadership Continuum sessions will target specific workplace issues and challenges and introduce topics that enhance skill development in the areas of Leadership and Communication. The target audience includes alumni of the LSC program and individuals seeking personal growth, a sense of connection, and exposure to leadership fundamentals. These short-term programs will provide participants with skills to engage in a well-balanced and prepared workforce across all sectors and levels.

Community Conversations
Community Conversations are a forum to provide informative dialogues around issues that impact the SouthCoast region. These panel discussions are open to the public. Participation both in person and online is encouraged.

State Of The Region Summit
The Summit provides a comprehensive economic outlook on the region with additional information on the state and national data led by Dr. Michael Goodman, Senior Advisor to the Chancellor for Economic Development and Strategic Initiatives and Professor of Public Policy at UMass Dartmouth. This Summit will use critical data from industry sectors, focusing on the region's challenges, opportunities, and paths forward. Outcomes of this program are to ensure participants are active members of an informed community that embraces the positive growth of all residents.
