LEAD SouthCoast Annual Program
LEAD SouthCoast is a 10-month intensive community leadership development program that convenes a cohort of 30-35 diverse individuals from the nonprofit, private, and public sectors in the south coast. Session topics, presented by local leaders and field experts, explore critical issues and opportunities across the region while providing participants with direct and powerful connections, leadership skills training, and opportunities to work alongside their peers on community based projects.

Application Instructions and Timeline:
Thank you for your interest in the LEAD SouthCoast program. The program is designed to empower your leadership skills, enhance your network, and engage you with the community.
All applications submitted will be reviewed by a Selection Committee. For those selected to move forward an interview will be required. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis. We will contact you with date and time options. Should you be accepted into the program, you will be notified on a rolling basis. Tuition of $3,500.00 must be paid in full, or arrangements made, no later than the start of the program. Each program participant is expected to contribute a minimum of $150 towards their tuition.
The program schedule is as follows and is subject to change based on public health protocols and presenters’ availability:
September 12 5:00 – 7:00 pm Welcome Reception (location TBD)
September 13 & 14 9:00 – 5:00 pm Opening Retreat
Sessions will run from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Graduation
All program participants will work on a community group project and will be assigned to a team. Final Presentations for the group project will be the evening of June 20, 2024. Graduation will be June 27, 2024. Location TBD.
It is expected that all members of the cohort make every attempt to be present for all sessions. After 2 absences you may be asked to leave the program. Tuition is non-refundable and LSC will be reporting back to your employer or tuition sponsor your progress and engagement in the program.
