Congratulations to Leadership SouthCoast’s 2017 Distinguished Alumna and Unsung Hero awardees!
Lee Blake (’05) from UMass Dartmouth is Leadership SouthCoast’s 2017 Distinguished Alumna from LSC’s inaugural class. She’s a longtime advocate for the community, as well as for arts, culture, and social justice causes. In 2011, Lee was named as New Bedford’s Woman of the Year and in 2015 was recognized by the YWCA as a Woman of Distinction.
Angela Johnston (’10) from the New Bedford Economic Development Council is Leadership SouthCoast’s 2017 Unsung Hero. Angela has dedicated not just her career, but her life’s work to making new Bedford and the South Coast a better place to live, work, and play.
